Our top choice

Disney Port Orleans, Riverside

Set on the banks of a river, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside brings a taste of slower-paced Louisiana to the Sunshine State.

The Riverside half of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort takes inspiration from Deep South. It’s set beside a river, so it really makes you feel as though you’re in the wetlands of America’s Pelican State.

The main building looks like a steamboat ticket station, with a grand interior that evokes the 19th century. The rooms, meanwhile, are styled as old-fashioned white-columned mansions, and rural backwater apartments. Bedrooms feature artwork from The Princess and the Frog, set in 1920s Louisiana.

Location: In the Disney Springs Resort Area. Approx transfer time approximately 30 minutes from Orlando International Airport.

7 Nights from £799 per person (not including flights) - perfect to twin centre with a stay on International drive.
