I’ve been in the travel industry for around 20 years, starting as cabin crew flying out of Manchester before moving into a high street travel agency, where I worked as an agent i then progressed into manager roles. After having my little boy, I needed more flexibility and a great friend of mine knew I loved travel and took me under her wing working in the tailormade section of travel.
Now, I manage Protected Travel Shop Worldwide from home, focusing on long-haul trips, which is my passion. Every day brings something new. Protected Travel Shop Worldwide is the In house Tour Operator for our shops, so I speak with the staff daily and have a great relationship with them - it never feels lonely when I'm solo working. I am originally from the Fylde Coast so when i go home to visit family & friends you might catch me working from one of our shops. I love a challenge and all these years down the line i still get a buzz from helping customers find the perfect holiday. There is no better feeling when the shop calls me on the customers return to say the Customer has had the most AMAZING MEMORABLE time- That's what its all about!
